long weekend

Last weekend was another long one with a public holiday on Friday. Each day was perfect - Friday on Waiheke Island visiting friends and walking the sculpture walk, Saturday at this small farm to celebrate a birthday, and Sunday with family. Three day weekends have to be one of the best things.

Yes, up North again. Visiting family this time. These are pet sheep - Buddy and Eric. They eat the grass under the fruit trees and live the life of Riley.

I had a lovely day yesterday with friends on their small permaculture farm, where everything has a purpose.

a good weekend

We left the city for the weekend to celebrate a birthday and catch up with family. We ate well, enjoyed good company, tried the local wine and drove home the long way.
